I've got a '90 NA 2+2 manual car. If I time it to spec (15deg) it's slow as balls and hates idling. If I jam the CAS almost to the full advance position, it runs much better, with better, but still not great, idle characteristics. As if the fast idle valve doesn't open when the A/C is engaged, but it will idle fine with no load. No codes present. what i've done so far: -new Z1 wiring harness, with a late style PTU from a junkyard -removed the plenum, replaced the injectors, replaced PCV valves, removed EGR, and removed the coolant lines under the plenum (merlin kit) -z1 silicone hose set(no vacuum leaks or metered air leaks) -new delphi MAF -checked and adjusted TPS(0.48v), verified idle switch -verified no backpressure in the exhaust, no intake blockages, good fuel pressure(under load) All i have left that makes sense to me is getting a known good OEM MAF, pulling the motor and replacing the knock sensor & it's harness(no code 34 present), making sure the CAS fits properly with the exh cam, and maybe even trying another known good ECM. (at that point i'll go standalone) Anything else come into ya'lls' heads? I'm stuck here.
